Kind of strange, but here it is 2 days after Christmas, and it was 68 degrees. Not so funny until you realize that we live in Columbus, OHIO.
Yep, that's right. We had the doors and windows open today as the Christmas lights came down. (I mean who WOULDN'T take their lights down on a day like today....oh yeah, all my neighbors! LOL!)
Actually, the lack of snow had been quite sad. (And no, all you people living up north, I don't want what all YOU guys have...I'm just sayin'....) Lucy really enjoyed the snow last year, and we were kind of hoping she'd like it again this year too.
The snowsuit and boots are still just taking up, at this point anyway, MUCH needed space in this small home. Heck, by the time we actually get snow everything might just be to small! LOL!
So, to all you moms who have pics of snow on your blogs...yeah, I can admit it..I am a bit jealous!
Here's to a snowy January!

Hey... lets not complain! However I was hoping for single digit weather so that Florida felt extra good... oh well... we will still enjoy it!
isn't it crazy? ;) That is Ohio weather for you.
I am right with you...I could go for some snow. :)
Your temps do sound pretty nice. It is nice to have snow around Christmas though.
I love the tub pics. Really cute and they look like they are having a great time.
What a lovely story about your friend the Christmas Angel. :)
I'm kinda jealous of all the snow pictures too. I would love to have snow on Christmas, maybe someday but probably only if I move. LOL
That's not fair! We usually have the weather and your area gets it about two days later - we have NOT had 68 degrees in quite some time!

Hi Jill,
It was actually warmer here yesterday than the weather we had in Florida last month. CRAZY!! I do wish the girls could play in the snow, though. Can we get snow with the 68 degree weather? Asking too much, I think, eh? :-)
Christmas Angel, oooh!
We were in tee shirts with the ceiling fans on yesterday. Though in Georgia we get these days in winter.
Cheers to enjoying all your spring weather!
We actually went and saw the lights at the zoo last night. And I walked around in a tee shirt with no coat on. It was weird.
Me to I thought since all the snow and cold areas maybe we would see a little snoeflake but not here in FL. I think I saw one in 1986 or 1989. Yes we will be taking down our stuff soon too-sad to see all the pretty lights go!
We're having unseasonably warm weather too and I have to say I'm loving it. I do like a white Christmas though.
We had snow and loads of ice, but a nice warm day too and it all melted. Made me so happy! But, I know, we'll have more -- in Nebraska, of course.
Your girl is so cute. Love the name Lucy!
Janet
One of my co-workers is from Ohio. I am sure her family let her know that it was actually nicer in Ohio the day after Christmas than it was here in Phx! (it was 48!). LOL
I know, isn't the weather goofy? We were in Chicago over the weekend where on Sat. it was 64 and today 34...Spring one day and Winter the next. When we got home to Wisconsin we still had plenty of snow. I imagine you'll be getting some this Winter...
Ok! I guess being in Ohio, that's pretty bad. But, how about 82 in South Florida? GRRRR!!! Our "winter" is almost over. ::sniff::
Ohilda
Hi hun,
I can FedEx you a bunch of it if you want (lol).
Hugs,
Jonni
We were in the mountains - staying in a town that averages over 10 feet of snow a year - and it RAINED the entire week. Kinda put a damper on all of our snow-focused gifts (like the snow-blasters and the sleds). Sigh. But the weather WAS beautiful.
Happy Christmas to you and yours.
I'm all about the temp being 68! I'm in Indy and it was the same! I love it! I'm not a fan of Winter at all! xo Keli
Hi....I just found your site with that great Headliner....Glad to see that you were shring the artist's info but I couldn't find it anywhere in your sidebar ...??? Any extra info would be appriciated.
Hi Jill, thank you for the sweet comment!! Your little Lucy is adorable!! Congratulations on your paperchasing for a little boy!! How exciting....We have been home 10 days with our little guy from China....He is 6yrs.old. The trip was amazing :-)
The weather has been crazy around here in PA. One day it is freezing the next it's in the 60's.
I was hoping for ONE good snowstorm.
