Lion Dance

Lucy was absolutely TERRIFIED of the lion dance......crying AND shaking. After it was over, she was still shell shocked (as you can tell rom the look on her face!). These were her responses.......

Oh poor thing! I couldn't even read Amelia the Dragon Dance book last year because she was so afraid of the dragon - I can only imagine her having seen it in person!

Last year Kylie was terrified of the lion dances, but this year she thought they were great fun and even commented several times, "I'm not scared of the lion dance this year Mommy!" I'm glad for Lucy that they took the costumes off!

OHH poor Lucy, but so cute. I am so glad we didn't do anything this year, I think it would have been too much for our youngest as well!

My daughter did not like the Lion Dance at that age either! I have photos of her clinging to me for dear life during it. :-) She LOVES it now!
